Who we are
Brackenhurst Veterinary Hospital is the trading name of Ted & Dale Properties c/c (CC Reg 1992/032924/23), 60 Hennie Alberts Street, Brackenhurst, 1448. We are the "responsible party" for the personal information described here.
What we collect
When you become a client: your name, contact details and address, and your pet's details and medical history. When you use our contact form: your name, your pet's name, phone number, email address and your message. The form opens your own email app or WhatsApp, so your message reaches us as an ordinary email or WhatsApp message — the website itself doesn't store it.
Why we use it
To care for your pet, keep accurate clinical records, send you appointment and vaccination reminders, bill you for our services, and reply to messages you send us. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to your pet's care without asking you first.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to look after your pet: for example, a specialist or after-hours hospital we refer you to, laboratories that process tests, or Legacy Pet Crematorium if you choose cremation. Anyone we share with must protect your information too.
How long we keep it
We keep client and clinical records for five years after your pet's last visit, and then delete or destroy them securely. Messages you send us through the contact form are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also unsubscribe from reminders at any time.
